Finance and the Art Markets with Prof. Arturo Cifuentes

Join CAMS as we host Professor Arturo Cifuentes, a finance professional based in New York and Chile. He has more than twenty years of experience and his background spreads over many areas of the financial landscape, e.g. asset management, fixed income, derivatives, risk management, securitization, financial litigation, and regulation. He has also written and lectured extensively on the financial aspects of the art markets. Before switching to the financial arena, he worked as a scientist doing research on applied mathematics and engineering-related problems.

He taught at Columbia University, the University of Southern California, and the University of Chile. He holds a Ph.D. in applied mechanics from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech); an MBA in finance from New York University (Stern scholar award); and a civil engineering degree from the University of Chile.
