General Body Salon: Does Anybody Make Real Art Anymore?

Join us for an open discussion on the rise of mass-produced art. From Mary Cassatt's prints to Jeff Koons' stainless steel sculptures, we will review the history of art fabrication and the concept of ownership as it pertains to the art world. We will bring into question ways to distinguish an artist's idea versus their execution in completing an artwork and how to give credit to those involved in the creative process.
